The compact suction unit for restricted access areas
- 7,200 lpm suction capacity
- Honda air-cooled petrol (15kW / 20hp)
- 2,100-litre thermal immersion tank
- 1,450 kg
Rioned’s robust Suction Trailer is ideal for emptying flooded cellars, grease traps, septic tanks, and wells. Mounted to a trailer or on a double-axle chassis, the unit has a height of just 1.95 metres, making it suitable for height-restricted areas including basements and underground parking garages. A 2,100-litre thermal immersion tank provides more than enough capacity for the majority of suction and cleaning jobs. An empty weight of approximately 1,450 kg ensures that in normal use, the trailer remains below the permitted 3,500 kg.
High-performance suction pump
The Suction Trailer is powered by a 2-cylinder, 20 HP Honda petrol engine, driving a Jurop PNR 73 high-performance vacuum pump. A suction capacity of 7,200 litres per minute ensures that the Suction Trailer can operate continually for long periods of time, while the pump’s discharge mode enables operators to safely and efficiently empty the waste tank.
Fully-opening rear cover
The back of the Suction Trailer can be fully opened for cleaning and the removal of any solids left once the tank has been emptied. Tanks undergo a thorough pre-treatment to prevent any corrosion and are supplied to customers either galvanised or sprayed. Three sight glasses ensure that operators can easily monitor the tank liquid levels. The rear cover also houses a 3” inlet, 3” outlet and a suction reel with 25 metres of manually-operated 2.5” suction hose.
Safety features
A range of safety features have been included under the hood of the Suction Trailer. The tank houses a siphon and double float ball to prevent dirt particles from entering the high-pressure pump, while a protective cover ensures that the unit’s motor and pump are protected from dirt and weather conditions.
2,100-litre tank
With a thermal immersion tank with a net volume of 2,100 litres, the Suction Trailer has more than enough capacity for the majority of suction tasks. The tank is easily accessible via the fully-opening rear door, with operators able to monitor wastewater levels thanks to 3” sight glasses.
Storage
The Suction Trailer has been designed to include a range of storage solutions. An open storage box situated on the side of the trailer can be used to house the two 3” hoses supplied as standard with the unit. Ancillary equipment and additional tools can be securely stored in a lockable toolbox on the opposite side of the trailer.
